Members responded with empathy and solidarity to the question about sharp shooting pains in the head, with many confirming they experience similar pain, often on one side, that can be intense enough to bring them to tears. Several members shared possible connections to fibromyalgia, migraines, TMJ, occipital nerves, cluster headaches, or muscle spasms, and offered practical tips like applying hand pressure to the area, gentle yoga stretches, and tapping techniques found online. A recurring theme was leaning on faith, community support, and self-advocacy when navigating pain that doctors sometimes dismiss too quickly.

I used to get cluster headaches. They would be on one side usually over my eye in my eyebrow and my eye would run.. those were related to eating MSG or natural flavoring in foods. They would last about three days. You can go on Mayo Clinic on the Internet, and type in those type of headaches and see the symptoms etc🦋

You got it, forget what the muscles are called, but it took me years to figure out the difference from a headache like being dehydrated vs the muscles on the sides of my head spasming, or the nerves doing the nerve thing. Idk what it is, ever since I got to the Pacific coast my inner ears spasm like crazy and I'm pretty sure it's got something to do with air pressure.

There's some tapping techniques you can find online that might help. Sorry, I see I already posted this

I get wicked pains in side of my head that easiest way to explain is that it feels like a Charlie horse pain lasts from 5 to 30 minutes at a time and brings me to tears
