Throat feels like its got hair caught in it kind of tingles snf feels swollen or closing a bit is this fibro? common? Anyone experience this
Also, difficulty with swallowing - liquids or solids - is another symptom. I choke on liquids & my own saliva constantly. It's like, my body forgets how to operate the muscles in my esophagus to push the food down past my airway. So embarrassing! A dry throat, sore throat & cough have been noted to be symptoms of Fibro along with sinus issues. I think that my Dry Eye is related to it as well. I have alot of problems with my vision changing several times throughout the day. ⛄
I will add this note to my previous answer-- I wont tell you a symptom is fibro related unless my DR has diagnosed it as fibro related for me. I realize many people & DRs can use Fibro as a dump for whatever is going on that cannot be explained. Symptoms can be related to many different things but it does depend on the duration, severity & what else is going on within the body. I suggest keeping track of symptoms, severity, duration & treatments for it in a journal. Something you go through now may not reoccur again for years and you may forget about having had it. If you journal it, you can refer back to it later. I've been dealing with Fibromyalgia for 46 years now & there are many things I went through that I and my DRs had no idea where Fibro related at the time but now, they are being identified as fibro related.
Sure it is and could be.
Be aware of putting all your symptoms on Fibro - could be many things. Especially this time of year.
I know it is weird to get what I call "normal sick" as hard to tell sometimes but it also happens.
Best of luck.
As someone else said, don’t think every new symptom is related to fibro. You didn’t say how long it’s been going on. If it just started, it could be a cold coming on. If you’ve had it for a while, it could be LPR. Next time you see your doctor, mention it to him/her. When I get new symptoms I put them in my notes on my phone. That way I won’t forget what I need to ask
Just be aware this Also could be allergy related. Keep track of it. Hugs
