Members overwhelmingly related to the experience of severe, body-wide stiffness from fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome, with many describing mornings as particularly brutal and noting that legs, neck, and back are often the worst areas affected. Several members shared practical strategies that help manage the stiffness, including gentle walking despite the pain, frequent position changes, magnesium spray combined with Voltaren, heating pads and electric blankets, muscle relaxers like Gabapentin, and scheduling appointments for afternoons when stiffness has eased. A recurring theme was the exhausting balance between movement that loosens stiffness but causes fatigue, and rest that brings relief but leads to more stiffness, with members emphasizing the importance of humor, self-compassion, and remembering that bad days are not permanent.

Yes, my whole body often feels locked up. Moving is extremely painful.

Go to Walmart and get you some magnesium spray it helps me to get out of bed and it helps me with my restless leg at night and it does take the instant pain away but mix it with some voltaren and let me know if that works for you I started it I got my daughter on it and it seems to be amazing

Yes the weather changes. We're supposed to have spring but in north Alberta it takes long to completely warm up. Cold winds even with the nice sunshine. My sleep last night was terrible. Not busy at work. So long day. Another 2 weeks and I'll be done. Am definitely feeling the wear and tear of 66 years of life. I've had lots of happy good times though. I try to joke around at work with others 😅
Try to be careful of my words. We are all on a path.
