Members strongly related to experiencing body-wide stiffness, with many describing it as worst in the mornings, after sitting, and during inactive periods, often requiring frequent rest breaks throughout the day. Several members shared practical strategies that have helped them manage stiffness, including regular movement and stretching, warm baths with Epsom salts, occasional use of ibuprofen or muscle relaxants with caution about stomach issues, and dietary changes like avoiding gluten and sugar. A recurring theme was solidarity around fibromyalgia's unpredictable nature, with members noting that symptoms fluctuate in intensity, worsen during flares, and can feel like flu-like aches affecting the entire body.

I just had a funny thought we could be a fibromyalgia flash mob! We'd all move slow and stiff singing the YMCA song. 🤣🤣🤣🤣😍😉

@A MyFibroTeam Member - The YMCA song would be funny! But what about us all doing a slow version of Micheal Jackson’s Thriller dance scene??? Trevor could play the role of Micheal lol 😝

When it's at it's worst I take Ibuprofen & methocarbamol. The pain lessens and the muscle relaxant works enough to keep me going and feel better. But it's important not to take to take this stuff regularly.

Trevor, yes stiffness and pain. Some days are better than others. I use tramadol it helps with pain. Know it sounds crazy to say I hurt all over. Reminds me of flu symptoms I guess that would be a better way to explain it? This week neck and shoulders are very stiff. Mornings are the worst Good luck with your journey.
