Members expressed cautious optimism about Tonmya, a new fibromyalgia drug expected for approval in late 2025, with several noting it appears to be a long-acting form of cyclobenzaprine (generic Flexeril) that dissolves under the tongue and is designed specifically for fibromyalgia with fewer side effects. Many community members described already taking cyclobenzaprine or similar muscle relaxants for sleep and widespread pain relief, sharing that it helps reduce nighttime muscle cramps and restless legs. A recurring theme was hope that this non-opioid option could finally offer meaningful relief after years without new treatment options, though some members expressed concern about potential intolerances to pain medications.

I googled Tomya it looks like it will be approved. A non opiate wide spread pain killer. Helps with sleep and fatigue. Not many side affects. Fingers crossed. Take care everyone.

Hi Janette,
All I know about it is that it's cyclobenzaprine, and I'm already taking that. (Generic Flexeril). I think tonmya is dissolved under the tongue?? But don't know if there's any other difference. Anyway, if you don't want to wait till it's approved, maybe just try cyclobenzaprine? At least I don't jump out of bed with muscle cramps when I take it, and I sleep pretty good πŸ˜‰ Gentle hugs,
Deb 😘
