That’s tough.
I’m in a phase where I say yes and then bail last minute if I need to. Of course, if the costs are steep, then I am more hesitant.
Sometimes I end up feeling too bad to go out after all. And sometimes it’s like feel bad on the couch or feel bad at the concert.
🤷♀️
I try to think about things like…
Can I sit? How far from home? What can I bring with me to make myself more comfortable? Will I be with friends/family that support me and the decisions I need to make?
I try to be as prepared as possible. But I try real hard not to stress about feeling bad. Stressing almost insures that I will feel bad. And you can always leave at anytime, right?
Wish I could be more helpful. I’d be happy to keep talking it out, but at the end of the day you are the only one that knows what’s right for you. 💛

I used wrist support braces that help with the carpel tunnel pain , back pain I use heating pad, and lidocaine patches and a hot as I can tolerate
I know the feeling. I'd go. Prepare. Take pain meds before you go. A pillow to sit on and a bottle of water if allowed with a clear dissolved pain relief (one from over the counter) to sip on. Take advantage of the disability seats. You will enjoy it. Stay in bed if you have to the next day.
Yes! Anytime I can take advantage of ADA sections it helps.
I can usually do a screening ahead of time, that way I have less issues getting through security with certain props or meds. And that also allows me to ask questions about what they might make an exception or won’t about due to my disabilities.
