Members connected over the confusing experience of recurring sore throats, dry mouth, and swollen glands despite not being sick, with many recognizing these as fibromyalgia symptoms they had never thought to link before. Several members shared practical relief strategies, including sucking on ice pops or lozenges, using thyme essential oil mixed with almond oil on the neck, and keeping Spry brand mouth spray or gum on hand for sudden dry mouth episodes. A recurring theme was the realization that fibromyalgia can cause widespread inflammation affecting the throat, glands, and moisture levels, with some members also learning that conditions like myalgic encephalomyelitis often occur alongside fibromyalgia and contribute to these throat symptoms.

Seems to make sense
Our bodies often have mad inflammation. Wether muscle , tissue, ligaments or nerves or anything else.
They can't tell us why, of course and one of many reasons we're in pain.

I used to get a lot of sore glands on the side of my neck or sore throat. I used time essential oil with a little bit of almond oil and rub it on those areas on your neck. Usually by day two or three it’s gone . Rebecca, I’ve tried everything. The only thing that works for me is a spray from the health food store called “Spry” , that’s the correct spelling. They have mouth spray, gum and lozenges. I love it when I wake up in the middle of the night ,with a dry throat or first thing in the morning. I carry a packet of the gum in my purse for when my throat gets dry and I have no water when I’m out.
