Stay away from any cutting unless it’s the last choice…it creates adhesions and most often doesn’t help much.

I don't think a neurosurgon would help with that. I have gone to orthopedist for tendon problems. They use anti-inflammatories and he told me to soak in hot water as hot as I could stand. A friend had her hand injected because of hand tendonitis. She saw an orthopedic hand specialist. I agree with Kathy that you should avoid surgery for this. Cutting means surgery. I don't know what adhesions are.

I don't think it would be a neurologist. I would thin an ortho doc. But I may be wrong. An ortho surgeon did my cervical spine surgery. Good luck.

There are so many different doctors for different things...My old rheumatologist told me to go to an orthopedic surgeon for arthritis in my knees. I thought arthritis was treated by rheumatologists???? I'm so confused!

Yes, I have a neurosurgeon and I get the injections in my back. They do help tremendously!! Don’t last too long, but it’s worth it.
