Members shared that ear ringing (tinnitus) and occasional ear pain are common experiences, with many describing constant ringing that sometimes intensifies, particularly during flare-ups or when fibromyalgia symptoms worsen. Several members offered practical coping strategies, including using background music or white noise to mask the ringing, wearing earplugs to reduce sensory overload, and recognizing the connection between tinnitus and conditions like fibromyalgia and anxiety. A recurring theme was learning to live with tinnitus as part of the broader symptom picture, with some members noting it serves as an unwelcome early warning system for upcoming flares.

Yes. Ringing in ears. It's called Tintinus. When it's quite it's worse. So I'm always having music in the background when working or in my bedroom.

Yes! For me, Ihave a super heightened sensitivity to bright lights and noise. I will often wake in the night and it’s like there is a is ringing in my ears. When I wear my earplugs, it helps, I wonder if there is a link between Fibromyalgia and Tinnitus? I read that there possibly is to anxiety,

Yep, occasional ear pain and everyday tinnitus. It seems to get louder when I take out my hearing aids and hope in bed. Distracting and I live alone, makes me think there’s something making noise outside. Unnerving!
