I think I suffer with symptoms from it, but all the symptoms are similar to what fibro can cause. I definitely wouldn't want them cutting on my head. Not unless it became so unbearable. Just curious that fibro can cause POTS like symptoms (autonomic nervous system) and that's the part of the brain affected by Chiari malformation. Thank you for responding. I really appreciate it.

My daughter has this condition. Discovered it when she had to have a spinal tap...that's a definite no no with this condition. She just about died. So...she lives with it. Was told nothing can be done unless you struggle with unbearable head aches. Then they will operate but have no information on the results of that. I know its risky. She is fortunate in that it doesn't affect her. She is in her late 50s and so far its okay.
