Are Fibromyalgia Headaches The Same As Migraines?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question πŸ’

I’m going to c my neurologist on Monday and she gave me samples of ubrelvy& nurteq. Neither, one helped. Do you think I should ask for more samples or another prescription. If I need to ask for a prescription is lyrica, something good to try.

πŸ˜„πŸ˜ Claire, that's the way I've felt sometimes. Before google, they'd hand you a "diet sheet", or tell you to read the American Heart Association's book.

So many times, I've checked out library books, read their
diet sheets and thought... Is this me...πŸŒ±πŸ„πŸ‘πŸπŸ¦ŒπŸ‡πŸ¦™?

Finally, I realized I was almost obsessing over every bite I took, trying to avoid the "killer foods". I lost weight, and I'm petite, struggled to gain weight.

My cholesterol is hereditary. Your body makes the majority of your LDL, as I've been told. It can be lowered some by diet, exercise, meds. I've tried many meds, too many side effects.

Life is tough enough, especially with chronic ailments, without worrying about what I eat. I'm not overweight, I'm active, and I enjoy what I eat.
I'm only going to live one life, I try to enjoy it.πŸ˜‰

Same here, DebπŸ‘
My Dr stays on my case about my cholesterol, which had come down.πŸ‘πŸ‘ But, I
know not only diet increases the level. Heredity is a big factor with me, and stress.

If we listened to some experts, we'd probably be grazing green grass with the animals and exercising like greyhounds.πŸ™„

No doubt, my cholesterol will increase during the holidays. But, I'm going to do my best to enjoy my holiday meals and goodies.

Ladies,
Just this morning, I saw a YouTube video on strokes.

Not to alarm anyone, but, there are about 10 signs of an upcoming stroke. Of course, high BP, is one, but, so are some of the ailments I see posted on this site, even regularly. Headaches can be another indicator, especially intense, severe ones.

Unfortunately, after seeing the video, and recently being dx with Afib, I'm at high risk for a stroke. There have also been several in my family. Most were smokers, I am not. My bp is usually not too high, either, but, I've had some vascular changes over the years.

It's one of those things...do you want to know or not?πŸ€”
There are things you can do, to lessen the risk. Lifestyle changes, such as exercise and diet.

If you watch the video, or get info on strokes, Please see your doctor. It may save your life, or a life-long debilitating condition.

Your problem sounds similar to mine. Lots of headaches, but, I haven't tried all the therapies you have. My neck and shoulders hurt a lot, to the point I sometimes have numbness in my hands and lower arms. I'm sure I have a nerve pinched at times, along with confirmed bone spurs. Fibro doesn't help, either. It's a vicious cycle.☹️

Hoping we all can get some relief, from all our pains. πŸ™
