Hi everyone..I do a bit of reading about fibromyalgia and i must say i get a little confused on how they describe it..they say its a condition, a disorder, a decease an over active central nervous system or neurological and i have even seen autoimmune disease.. How do you describe it to others..please stop my confusion

Got an answer for when you get out of your car in a handicap space and you look perfectly well. I just say "well tell you what I'll give you my space if you will take my disease". They do not know what to say!
I don't even try anymore. I just start another conversation. I know we all have it and we all suffer because of it
I usually tell people it’s a disorder that attacks my nerves causing a lot of pain and other symptoms that come from other diseases. I read a image that said “ don’t judge me, you don’t know what it’s like to fight your own body every day” that’s on a fibromyalgia awareness T-shirt

I agree with Anthony, it’s a disorder that causes various symptoms. I don’t think I would break it down to others though. Unless it’s like family or friends who are truly concerned and care about me.
