It’s dinner time and I’m not even hungry. I’m so nauseous. I don’t know what to eat. I nite try and eat half a bagel. I woke up from a siesta and felt nauseous. Please send your thoughts on this. Thnx

I feel nauseated when I first get up. I do not eat anything when I first get up. My first meal I do not eat until about six hours after I am up. It is not from my medication because I don't take it until after eating something such as half a bagel. I find I cannot put butter or oleo on my bagel, but I can spread a smidgen of whipped plain cream cheese on each half and then put my bagel halves bag together. I then wrap my bagel in a paper towel, put it on a plate and heat it in my microwave for 30 seconds. I eat it in small bites. I cut out all soda. I drink bottled water in my metal cup and mix Pedialyte in with it along with ice. I use a metal straw with it. It is a metal cup made by the same company as Yeti but does not have the name Yeti on it. I bought it on Amazon because I also bought a handle to fit it as it has weight to it when filled. I take this cup everywhere around the house with me as well as put it on my night stand at night because I am always thirsty as I am type 2 diabetic. I used to love hot black tea, but it now tastes like metal to me since my Sjogrens got worse. I have deep cracks in my tongue and ulcers in my mouth from it. Over the years of my autoimmune diseases I have had to change what I eat as now my stomach revolts to a lot of foods I used to eat. I started out on crackers such as saltines, then Ritz or Townhouse. Then I would try a new item, just as you would a baby to see if you can tolerate it or not, such as dry toast, I find rolls are good, but have to be doughy texture. Dairy is almost intolerable. The older I get the more I find the less variety of things I can eat. The doctors have had me tried otc. medications for being nauseated but they don't work for me, I am able to eat a little more in the evenings rather than through the day, but it is not a meal. I am better at grazing a little here a little there than ever eating a meal. We do cook so that my husband is getting meals. I do take a multivitamin, calcium and many other vitamins that have been ordered by the doctor, one is rx strength vitamin D. I always say we all have a lot in common, but no two of us are alike. Hugs and prayers. God bless.

Try sipping on ginger ale or try a peppermint candy

Small amount of whatever you decide. We ate crackers when nauseated during pregnancy. Nausea can be caused by hunger, go figure.

Dlee,
Please ask your pharmacist about the multi vitamin and the prescription Vit D amounts. It's possible to get too much Vit D.

Feel better soon.🙏🩷
