Long time ago they could be purchased at a dollar store. They helped me. Now that they’re more expensive, I’ve stopped using them.
I use compression socks and that helps. Also comfortable house shoes with thick sole.
My hair also is falling out quickly, recently. I saw this beginning when I was in mid 40's and was also going through pre-memopause. I had had Fibro symptoms as long as I can remember getting worse in my early thirties. So much going on, I thought hereditary, and never met my bioligical parents and siblings. I grew up in an abusive home. And was prone to other physical abuse such as getting hit by a car, twice. I felt like a moving target to this day. So, I jumped into the final thing that helped me, since I could not fix myself. I returned to studying the bible. For almost, the last two years. I can handle my illnesses and life, better than before. If it were not for Believing and Learning what I am learning in Theology now, I don't think I would be here, today. A strong belief for this insignificant person I am, has changed my world. Praise my Lord Jesus Christ, and my Father for his Mercy and grace in my life. I have been through so much in my life, and now understand. It's not about me. Less of me, and more of Jesus.
In all my weaknesses, I thought I was not good enough. My weaknesses brought me to the power and strength of the gospel. There is mighty power in the truth, in the Bible and with the help of the Holy Spirit, I get it. I Finally understand... but, God's not done with me yet. This is why I spend everyday, studying, Theology.

I haven't tried them. What did help my intense leg pain is dry brushing--I suspect that edema was amplifying my leg pain. I felt an immediate improvement and try to do it every day before showering.
Yes, they got really black & smelly. I slept with them on. Swelling seemed to got down, but that could have been from laying down off my feet for 10 hrs. Don’t think they did anything towards reducing my pain. Perhaps if they were used more regularly for a few nights in a row then maybe. Thought they were to expensive if I had to use so many to see a result each time. Rest, hot bath with magnesium flakes, my wobble board & sleep would ultimately achieve the same results.
