My specialist put me on Fodmap diet. I am now
Dairy, gluten, sugar free and do not use salt. Really helped my stomach and I do feel better not so much bloating and gas. Plus I lost 15 lbs.

Removing 99% dairy has made an impact in spasms in my arms and legs, and it doesn't take much to over do caffeine. I " treat" myself to a coffee drink, and if I end up with one and milk, I'm not so well for a day, or even a week. There's a bit of caffeine in one of my otc, but the side effects there don't out weigh not having the little help they provide. Processed food is a problem, in that it's tolerable ever so often but not routinely at all. I still struggle with symptoms everyday, but it's manageable more than 50% of the time if I keep in discipline. Which usually isn't to difficult considering what my life would be like without the regimine of clean diet. A huge find in my diet was EGGS!!! Big big inflammation problem comes with eggs for me. Which was a big bummer as they are so easy and versatile. I can tolerate one or two, a week, cooked in with a grain free batter, like a pancake. But if I cross a limit, oh my it's so obvious in all my joints, wrists, hands, elbows, ankles..ugh!! Miserable!! Sp, I still have issues in those areas, but there's a major flare in store with addition of certain " foods". Meds don't work right either when I add the problem culprits. Hope it helps to share...yeah for kale and mushrooms!😋

I'm not sure if it's tannic acid in black tea but I cannot have any black tea as it makes my stomach feel sick. Coffee also irritates my stomach. I don't care if it's low acid, non-GMO organic, coffee irritates my stomach so if I have a very little bit I will have to mix it with chicory. I buy powdered chicory on Amazon. It has no gluten in it. It's good for the stomach.

Bloody blue blazes and all that's holy, I cannot tolerate gluten, caffeine, pasta and seasoning with food. I had testing done for allergies. Damn that was an eye opener. I had them poke my skin with needles. Skin scraping was bs. Found that I am allergic to gluten, sensitive to caffeine (already gave it up) and no alcohol. For me it was eye opening.
