What Causes Fibro? Does It Ever Go Away? Is It Inherited?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question πŸ’

I wanted to join to see how others are handling their problems with fibro and maybe I could get some validation or a feeling of support from others in the same boat. I don't know what to expect, really.

Welcome! πŸ₯³

To answer your question...I'm not sure if Anyone knows what causes fibro, or if it's inherited.

There have been
some studies
and theories suggested, but, as far as I know, nothing is definite.

Does fibro ever go away? In my own case, no. I've
suffered with this
monster for over
50 years.
It started in my childhood.

One thing I Can tell you, is this...
you will find info,
support, empathy
and friendship on this site.

Someone is Always here for you. Whether you're having a Good day, Bad day, or a So/So day, someone is here for you.

No one will judge you here. We're All in the same boat. Chronically
ill, many with several ailments.

Hopefully, I've helped answer some of your questions. πŸ€—πŸ™

My fibro symptoms started when I was 19, just back then I didn't know what was going on or what it was called.

This is a great place. People are knowledgeable, understanding, and will listen in good time and bad.

Problem with fibro is no one knows what causes it. Also, another problem is people especially doctors might not really believe you.

I don't believe it ever goes away you just deal with it the best way we can.

But we are here for you.

It doesn't go away but you will learn to deal with it and know what will make you feel worse and when you need to slow down for a bit. Hormones effect me and i have gotten worse over time but i just try to find new ways to cope.

Get the book with the green cover called Fibromyalgia and Myofacial Pain Syndrome. It's the best way to explain everything.
