Sometimes I can climb or pick up heavy things but then other times I can barely do anything like I have no strength at all in my body. I feel so powerless when it happens when I want to do things. Seems to happen when I have flare ups and when my mouth ulcers become often like recently.

Members deeply related to the experience of unpredictable strength loss during fibromyalgia flares, with many describing frightening moments when they could barely walk, lift objects, or complete daily tasks despite being capable at other times. Several members shared practical coping strategies, including setting timers for appointments, writing things down to manage cognitive fog, resting without panic when weakness strikes, and recognizing patterns like seasonal changes or monthly cycles that trigger symptoms. A recurring theme was the profound isolation of living with fluctuating symptoms that others cannot fully understand, paired with mutual validation around shared experiences like mouth ulcers, crushing fatigue, pain in the neck and shoulders, and the frustrating reality of losing track of time or entire days.

Yall remember it's the worst time of year for us fibro fighters, my husband called me sicko the other day, I called him something better using 4 letters I won't repeat here!!
But once the clocks go back I moan cuz in the past 5 years I've noticed it gets worse anxiety, fatigue, pain, fatigue, confusion , drop everything can't open even a milk top, have to have someone else help, ummm what else?
Fatigue yeah I know I mentioned it already but dang it I just woke up slept for 10 hours and have no ambition but I have a zillion things to do, cognitive issues are a hard reality, for me ill fight you and say it's Monday, , until I look at my phone and in damn sure says its Tuesday, , it's like I lose a day,, time is lost on me, I can start to get dressed for an appt. And 2 hours have gone by,thinking it's been maybe 15 mins.
So I set a timer now and write my apot times 15 mins earlier. .
Since I have the CRS DISEASE, it doesn't matter what I write down I'll go by it!
CRS...(can't remember sh!t)

That's the Fibro fatigue. I feel completely drained of energy. Sometimes it's related to the pain, sometimes it happens on its own
