Members shared their experiences with losing strength due to their condition, describing scary moments like falling multiple times, dropping items constantly, and no longer being able to open bottles or lift grandchildren. Several members pinpointed specific areas of weakness, including hands, arms, and legs, with some attributing it to nerve damage, elbow pain, or reduced activity from chronic pain in the pelvis, back, and chest. A recurring theme was the emotional toll of no longer being able to do once-easy tasks like construction work or carrying musical instruments, balanced by gratitude for the community's reassurance that they are not alone or crazy in what they are experiencing.

I find my lower body has lost most of its strength resulting in me not being able to walk or stand long. I still have upper body strength.

You all make me feel better . Thank you. I feel like a worth less person and whimp. My husband and I owned a construction company for over 30 years. I did almost all of the heavy lifting. I was strong this thing is driving me crazy

I have lost strength in my hands. I didn't know what caused it. I have ruined a few meals by not hanging on the dish when taking it out of oven.
Hang in there. Lots of hugs
