Members rallied around someone asking how to manage flares in winter and snow for the first time, with the most consistent advice being to layer warmth through electric blankets, heating pads, warm socks, and dressing in multiple layers including leggings under pants when going outside. Several members shared practical tools that have helped them through cold weather flares, including weighted blankets for comfort, infrared heat pads, portable hot water bottles or wheat bags to carry in coat pockets, and sturdy boots like Dr. Martens to prevent falls and reduce muscle tension. A recurring theme was that barometric pressure changes before rain or snow can trigger pain, so staying warm, resting when needed, using painkillers or medical marijuana as appropriate, and preparing with the right gear are essential strategies for getting through winter with a chronic condition.

Make sure that you have an electric blanket this will keep you warm at night. The electric blanket helps me to keep warm in Winter sometimes I have to turn it down very low because I get to hot πŸ₯΅
Also wear Socks to bed also helps to keep your feet warm.
Many Blessings to You and your Family Stay Safe and Sound.

I wish I did because that's when I have the most pain.... before it rains or snows. If my pain is bad enough, I use medical marijuana. Best wishes!!!

I wear my Dr Martin's when I go out as even tensing up while trying not to fall over can give you pains and it would be worse if I fell. Sometimes I love my weighted blanket but it can get to heavy if pressure points are bothering me. I would not get an expensive one as mine was less than Β£30 from Amazon and is great. Just wrap up warm. Wear leggings under your skirt/trousers and carry a hot wheat bag or hot water bottle in your coat.
