Does anyone else get tongue pain on the back and sides of the tongue? Perhaps triggered by swallowing?

Yes . Also i have facial pain and mouth pain. My dentist and doctor cant see anything abnormal but I have daily pain . My mouth feels like there is 100s of cuts . Still don't know what is causing it

Yes. It's called burnt tongue syndrome. Just had strawberries and my tongue is raw. It never goes away. I use lidocaine when it gets bad.

I have bad tounge pain. I never thought it could be related to fibromyalgia. I'll bring that up at my next appointment
