Pain In The Morning.
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

My hip and shoulder feel bruised on the side I’m sleeping on. Is this normal for fibromyalgia? It causes me to constantly roll over all night long. I feel like my blood is pooling on my lower side. Does anyone else have this? I didn’t know obstructive sleep apnea and bruxism were related, but they are.

Very much so. I have tried the multiple pillows arrangement. It is usually a hit and a miss. Hang in there. Hugs to you.

Hi, I have felt like that several times...ive now got an adjustable bed although expensive but worth it, I get into bed move it to how I want to sleep & I'm gone for the night... Best thing I've ever bought!

Same thing here. I turn over during the night and wake up feeling like I'm made of wood. I also bought an electric adjustable bed and the mattress on it is a lot more comfy than my old one. It is great for resting on during the day. Instead of shifting myself into new positions to keep the pain away, I can simply adjust the bed! At night though, I can only sleep lying down flat, on my side, so I don't use its adjustable powers then. It's been a lifesaver for daytime though, nothing else is as comfortable for easing a stiff, tired body. It may be possible to get a rebate on the bed, (or tax back) as it is useful for Fibromyalgia. I'm going to try and get a rebate soon; it was an expensive bed.

Definitely yes, more pain in am. Actually starting around 2am I wake up every hour or so and reposition my pillows and body. That's why I no longer sleep with my hubby. I would keep him awake all night long. Just another loss thanks to fibromyalgia.

Yes. Normal for me. I also feel like joints pop out of place in shoulder/ collarbone area and hips. Very painful and annoying. I try and prop myself with multiple pillows. Sometimes works sometimes doesn’t. Gentle hugs
