Members shared deeply mixed experiences with the COVID vaccine and fibromyalgia flares, with many describing intense fatigue, body aches, and worsened symptoms lasting anywhere from 24 to 36 hours after shots, though some recovered quickly while others faced prolonged effects. Several members expressed fear and hesitation about subsequent doses based on their reactions, with practical experiences ranging from minimal side effects to debilitating flares that made some decide against getting additional shots. A recurring theme was the difficult personal decision between enduring short-term symptom flares versus seeking protection from COVID, with members offering prayers and support while acknowledging that each person's fibromyalgia responds differently to the vaccine.

Val and others - would you rather put your body through being under a ventilator and worse ? Consider the alternative and consider the health of others .I’ve had both shots . The long term benefits outweigh the short term symptoms .
