After my second visit to a chiropractor I started having reoccurring twitches or small spasms in my back muscles. Pretty much always on the left side. Sometimes upper and sometimes lower. Muscle feels tingly and feels like its "crawling". Sometimes it hurts and burns! But it only happened after I popped my own back after the visit. Hoping I didn't mess anything up! Anyone else experience this?

Members widely related to experiencing muscle spasms and twitches, with many sharing that these symptoms occur throughout their bodies, not just in the back, and often appear without warning. Several members offered practical advice based on their own experiences, including switching from manual chiropractic adjustments to gentler options like the activator device, trying massage therapy or water physiotherapy for longer-lasting relief, and using medications like baclofen to manage daily spasms. A recurring theme was the unpredictable and sometimes intensely painful nature of these spasms, with members offering solidarity and hope for relief to anyone navigating similar challenges.

I had a gentle chiropractor for years...we only used the activator device, as manual adjustments are too hard on me. Don’t let them do Manuel adjustments especially on your neck. 🤗🤗🤗

I have back pain and spasm since forever but this happened with my mom after she had saw a chiropractor so she stopped going
I hope your pain disappear soon

I have spams and twitches, not in my back, other parts of my body. The frustrating thing for me is how they come without any warning.

You may have gotten a trigger piont hit, I no longer go to a chiropractor because it was only temporary relief before I had similar symptoms. I now get gentle messages instead and do water Physiotherapy because both are low impact.
