I started this awful, awful problem just in the last year. My GP started me on Sinemet pills (Parkinson medication) .
You only use it when Restless leg syndrome symptoms starts bothering you.
Most of the time ( for me 100% of the time) it works.
Miracle cure, not really sure, but if it helps to alleviate the problem I'll try anything.
Good luck.
Yes, I use to get RLS ALL THE TIME. Nothing would calm them until my Dr. gave me low dose muscle relaxer (tizannidine) I try not to use unless it's a bad night. I'm regular nights I use Hyland's restless legs melt under the tongue tabs. I got them at Walmart. They have helped me. I also use MagniLife's restless legs cream--yes a cream--you just rub it and message your legs and it's the best feeling ever. It calms the sensations and can help control cramps, twitches, and spams. I also got this at Walgreens
Hope this helps xoxo
I also had it very bad. It would happen almost nightly n bring tears to my eyes. My dr told me that low iron can make RLS worse. He checked my iron n it was very low. He sent me for iron infusion therapy n I havent had a bout of RLS for 7mos.
Have ur iron checked!
Hope this helped.
