Weighted Blanket
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hey everyone
Just bought a weighted blanket after hearing about them for years. I didn’t buy one until now as was always sceptical about the claims and I get hot at night so I figured it wouldn’t work for someone like me. Anyway, this blanket has a cooling cover for hot sleepers as well as a “winter” cover, has great reviews AND best of all a 100 day return policy. I bought a brand called Gravis which is a Canadian company but I understand there’s lots of different brands making high quality… read more

I bought a 15 lbs one. I like it but takes some getting used to.
I tried directly on me. No go.
I tried it on top of the bed. Worked so so.
Then I put it on top of the sheet it works the best there.
Then I bought a 12 lbs one for my chair while watching tv.
I do find them cumbersome at times.
Thinking maybe. 10 lbs on.
I am 6' 1" 220 lbs but they take some getting used to.
I like them...

I have a 15lb weighted blanket.. It helps me especially with leg pain and
anxiety. I don't find it too heavy and I am small.
Olga, thanks for mentioning the cooler cover. I will have to look for one.
I really didn't think I'd like it, but I do. hope this helps:)

If you have a neck issue and it causes pain in your shoulder, sometimes putting a lighter weight smaller blanket on the shoulder so that it pulls the shoulder downwards and walk with it and will make the neck and shoulder feel better.
