I Allegra (without Decongest) as needed and it relieves the fibro tingling snd some of the malaise feeling. (Desert Harvest Aloe Vera capsules have a similar effect. Originally recommended for IC symptoms by my urologist).

Allegra has a lot of benefits and according to my ENT is not cummulative-doesnt build up in your body 👍
Its recommended for some under skin issues too and maybe why helps w the tingling.

Yes you are all right.
What helps some of us does not help all of us. I cannot tolerate most allergy meds, (or any meds or herbs for that matter) and definitely not anything w a decongestion bc gives me hesdache and triggers irregular heartbeat. But i can tolerate Allegra on/off basis and occassionally a zyrtec. And after much bsck and forth w doctors who always want to prescribe full doses to me, i have convinced some that i csn only tske a child dose of stuff. One nurse backed me up explaining that drug and chemical sensitivities are common in Fibro.

Allegra minimizes the body tingling and aloe vera capsules relief some of the discomfort from pain for me, BUT as others have pointed out, Allegra is not a pain killer, its a type of immune blocker

No supplement takes the entire pain away, when its bad. I do find that biomedics entenzmesrelieve muscle inflammation (prescribed by my chriro) and much of the associated pain. Its a natural snti inflammatory. But as w advil on really bad days nothing stops the pain completly. It may numb it some but you can still feel it.

Accupuncture has drastically reduced fibro symptoms for me. But even so it hasnt yet been a cure. Although i wasnt able to pursue it for more than a couple of months before covid hit.

What i love about this blog is the support we get from one another and the things we learn from eachother. Most doctors still only know the basics about fibro. It took me a long time to find one that actually understood my symptoms and disgnosed me correctly.

Unfortunately for me antihistamines do my head in, I can’t take them, it’s like anything that has a speedy type affect does not agree with me. I can understand tho how they would help like someone else said about that tingling under the skin! I hate that as it feels like something in under your skin and moving? Am pleased 😀 you have found something so simple as that to help. It’s great.

Antihistamines for allergies only. I can not take anything with decongestant as sends me into space! Happy for those who have found that it helps.
