Members shared creative solutions for managing dry mouth from Sjögren's syndrome while avoiding artificial sweeteners that trigger IBS symptoms. Several members found relief through sugar-free hard candies (especially fruit flavors rather than mint, which can burn), ice cubes or ice lollies, and Glandosane synthetic saliva spray for staying hydrated on the go. A recurring theme was the challenge of balancing dry mouth relief with avoiding artificial sweeteners, though some members suggested Biotene products like mouthwash, spray, or throat drops as helpful options despite containing sweeteners.

Try Biotene. The throat drops can help.

My sister used to use TicTacs but she has been using mint strips that disolve in your mouth. I don't know what the name is but I am sure that your pharmacist or Doctor could help you find them.
