Members deeply understood the frustration and fear of experiencing memory fog, with many describing difficulty concentrating, forgetting simple tasks or words, and feeling their minds work noticeably slower, especially when tired, in pain, stressed, or during bad weather. Several members shared practical strategies that have helped, including taking fish oil supplements (one member built up to 1000mg twice daily per specialist recommendation), improving sleep quality and checking for sleep apnea, and trying B supplements like Nicotinamide for cognitive support, while others noted temporary clarity when inflammation decreased with prednisone. A recurring theme was the unique pain of being fully aware of cognitive decline while feeling powerless to stop it, compounded by the worry that others might think they are losing their minds, yet finding comfort in knowing brain fog is a real fibromyalgia symptom and not just personal failure.

I reccomend taking fish oil capsules if you can. I was too scared to cook because I was worried I would leave the oven on etc. I slowly built up to 1000mg morning and night (recommendation from my specialist) and it helps hugely!! It has been a life saver! ๐Ÿ˜Š
