My feet and ankles are stiff and sore when I get out of bed in the morning!! (And also if go to bathroom in middle of night)!

It used to happen ocassionally in past years, now its every morning. Im assuming its fibro related. Its a nuisance, but after I walk a bit its ok.

So far its only happening after getting up from bed, not when I get up from a sitting position. (My legs sometimes hurt when I get up from sitting too long but not my feet). I’ll have to take note if my feet hurt after… read more

Wow @A MyFibroTeam Member good that you get that much sleep. I only sleep a lot when I am in a flare. But everyday I am lucky if I get 4 hours straight.. They say if you can sleep it gives your muscles and nerves time to relax. I take 400 mg of gabapentin and 20 mg of baclofen every nite and sometimes can go right to sleep, but then up by 2 am and maybe a 30 min. Nap in the afternoon. Hope you feel better. Hugs and Prayers

If I am in one position too long, whether in bed or sitting or in a car I have to flex and rotate my joints before I can move, as if like the Tin Man, I have rusted stuck.

I have the same thing and my hips get stiff in the evening. It's fibro for me. Hang in there!
