Members connected over struggling with heat and humidity when living with fibromyalgia, describing how warmer weather intensifies symptoms like muscle pain, burning sensations, sweating, breathlessness, and cognitive fatigue. Several members shared practical cooling strategies that have helped them, including dog cooling gel mats for the feet, freezer-cooled towels worn around the neck, cool showers to lower core body temperature, and special tramping cooling towels that stay cold when shaken without needing water. A recurring theme was the comfort of knowing others experience the same heat-related symptom flares and the collective search for affordable, portable cooling solutions that last longer than traditional ice packs.

Wow this sounds amazing. I swear terribly and my face gets red, people ask "what's wrong with your face" do you remember the name of it, Amazon maybe?

My partner does (her and i both have fibro). She found a special tramping cooling towel that you wet once and it feels ice cold and then when it warms up you just shake it and it feels ice cold again, so you dont have to keep water with you. It's way easier than using a cold cloth. And is great for when we go out or for during the night.

I know there is are cooling towels...you put in the freezer than can wrap them around your neck. Am looking at getting one myself. I also take cool shower to bring my core temperature down and it helps.
