Members connected over the question of facial pain affecting the ear and shoulder, with many confirming they experience similar symptoms including jaw clicking, ear pressure, tooth pain, neck stiffness, and facial burning or redness. Several members identified TMJ as a key factor, sharing that clenching or grinding teeth due to chronic body pain can trigger a painful cycle, and that focusing on jaw relaxation, muscle relaxants, and supportive insoles have provided some relief. A recurring theme was the interconnectedness of fibromyalgia symptoms, with weather pressure changes, stress, and past trauma all playing a role in symptom intensity, alongside the frustration of having pain dismissed by medical providers who don't fully understand the condition.

Look in the mirror sometime, and your shoulders are probably all squenched up towards your ears. You probably grind your teeth and have TMJ. Because of the constant pain with certain movements, this puts even more stress on our nervous system. Everything is so related to everything else.

Thank u everyone that responded! Well that symptom is gone now but the RLS symptom is flaring it's ugly head lately 👽! The fibromyalgia merry-go-round. Oy if only I could win lots of money I could at least live in luxury 🏠go on luxury cruise, go to luxury Spa and pay for all of us to get together at one of my Estates probably the luxury Manor on the coast of England facing the ocean. Naturally my personal secretary would make all the arrangements while I 🛀. Blessings ♥✝L

Yes, pain in the face, ear, headaches and oh my teeth. Dentist thinks I overdo it when I tell them my teeth, gums and any item you put in my mouth hurts me.
Had many ear infections when I was younger.
Also I keep saying it’s age, but I know it’s caused by the fibro.... my eyes hurt and I can’t wear my glasses when the facial pain gets bad.
What I did notice is depending on the weather pressure will depend on where it hurts. When the pressure goes up , the pain is more in my face. When the pressure is very low it’s my back and legs that are worst.
Good luck 😉 and you are not alone

TMJ is awful. I suffered with severe ear infections for years and compare the pain from TMJ to an untreated ear infection. It also causes pain down my neck and shoulder.
I noticed I was gritting my teeth and clenching my jaw a lot because of my body pain, which was in turn triggering my TMJ. So I really focused on not doing that and it did help me.
Hugs
