I know she doesn't believe 'Fibromyalgia" is a bonified illness/disease. She tries to get a rise out of me 'always and forever🎶 until the end of time. I've actually extingushed a fire by repeating "God Bless you!" A dear Sister friend recomended me trying this method.
The person did not know how to react. First it was what the ????
Then stomped off and door slam.
There is really nothing one can do to help people like this understand our daily lives.

I had to do it with my son. After 25 years of trying I woke up one day and said. Enough. That was 7 years ago. He is close to 50 . So yes I was a slow learner, but now life is very different. I sure know now what is acceptable in my life in order to live the best life possible. There will always be sleepless nights, pain, fatigue and a myriad of other nuisance factors that go with the multiple chronic conditions we have, and they all irritate and rark-up one another. It’s more than enough to deal with daily without nay-sayers as well. So to anyone out there struggling with someone whose negativity is tearing you apart, take heart from those of us who have put a stop to it, and find that courage and energy to act coz it is vital to your well-being. We are here for you.
Be kind to yourselves everyday, we all need those loving gentle hugs, that keep us going forward into life as we know it now...
