Tips For Cystitis

I'd like to ask what helps you with the Fibro~Bonus of ongoing cystitis?
Having just finished my 2nd course of manki~biotics for a current cystitis flare up & it's getting worse.
Atm I cannot get to see a GP.
I buy bottles of Potssium Citrate to neutralize the acid.
Drink lots of sugar-free barley water
Take Pain Meds
Hot Baths
no underwear when possible
Heat Pads
All advice gratefully received :)

Try to follow an alkaline diet. Drink 1 tsp baking soda dissolved in 8oz water when really bad.

One of the best things to drink is sugar free cranberry juice
It prevents bacteria sticking to the wall of the bladder
You can also buy Cranberry supplements

Yep I agree. This was one of my first fibro symptoms and sent me running to the urologist.

I third that a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and cranberry with pomegranate juice and 6-8 pints h2o

My mom does this for her interstitial cysitis with good result. Also good for indigestion. But, like everything else, use caution due to sodium content.
