Members shared practical remedies for managing cystitis alongside fibromyalgia, with cranberry juice and cranberry tablets being the most widely recommended for preventing bacteria from sticking to the bladder wall. Several members suggested D-Mannose powder, Optibac female probiotics, apple cider vinegar in warm water, baking soda dissolved in water to alkalize the body, and AZO for pain relief, all while emphasizing the importance of drinking plenty of water throughout the day. One member shared her experience of being misdiagnosed with recurrent cystitis before discovering she had vulvodynia, a nerve condition affecting the vulvar area that can mimic urinary symptoms, encouraging others to seek further evaluation if standard treatments aren't helping.

Try to follow an alkaline diet. Drink 1 tsp baking soda dissolved in 8oz water when really bad.

My mom does this for her interstitial cysitis with good result. Also good for indigestion. But, like everything else, use caution due to sodium content.
