I feel like mine wax and wane. I had a period about 5 years ago when it was the worst, I was unable to get out of bed, that lasted about 6 months. Now it is manageable again, but still painful. I am more in tune with my body now though and I try to listen as soon as possible, but sometimes that doesn't even help.
Mine is definitely getting worse and affecting other parts of my body
Yes, as I said , Mayo’s 9 points for chronic care included socialization , self care, exercise, positive thoughts and not speaking of your pains . They said get up , dress, throw your drapes etc back and if friends don’t call you, you call them !
Good for you !
I'm More sensitive to lites, sound, and smells now
I Think you have something there Bethany. Ive noticed of late if I go out and spend a lot of time sitting Istart to ache all over I just want to go home and lie down. What Ive started doing is gong out for dinner with friends but as soon as I start to go stiff I go home. So I agree its trying to manage it.doesnt mean it will go away but if we can reduce the intensity of the pain and reduce flare ups, life will be better. Having a good medical professionals also helps.
