For a few weeks now I have had throbbing and spasms in the toes on both feet. This makes it difficult to wear shoes and/or walk. My shoes are very comfortable (I've worn the same kind of shoes for 5 years and am on my third pair as I wear them every day!) I am wondering if anyone else gets these spasms in their toes (they move of their own volition) and if so, what have to done to ease this condition? This is going to sound weird but I bought pickle juice shots on Amazon for spasms in legs and feet. A friend told me about it and it works better and faster than any medicine I've taken. Try it and good luck.
Yes, I do have the spasms in my feet and toes and yes it is very painful it feels like my toes are actually going to be torn off of my foot.
I take Lyrica and Tizanidine for it one does not work without the other. For the pain, I take Hydrocodone and Savella and Naproxen for inflammation. The Hydrocodone is used for back pain, and the Savella is used for Fibro pain and though it helps my pain it does not take it away. I hope this helps someone.
Yes their terrible, but I take Tizandine which stops the brain from sending pain signals to the body and it has reduced my spasms in half. I take Vicodin ES for the back pain, and Naproxen as well for the inflammation. These combinations work great. I also take Adderall for the severe fatigue, it's been over a decade I've been on it and it literally saved my life. I also take antidepressants at night. Trazadone helps me sleep through most of the night. Don't be afraid to ask the Dr. for what you need. We know better than anyone what helps us cope with this disease. Try and get outdoors daily and go for a 30 minute walk, it does wonders for mental health and moves those muscles and keeps you going. Feel better my friend and keep your chin up, you can live comfortably with Fibro with the right medications and coping skills. I still have bad flair ups now and then but take it in stride and rest my body when it tells me I need to. Big hugs!
But a Quell to get off those horrid drugs ! Yikes
That’s a LOT.
