Does anyone else here with Fibro experience heart palpitations, trembling, dizziness, and nausea?
I've wanted to chalk this up to anxiety, but it seems to be all to physical and all to often.
@A MyFibroTeam Member How much magnesium and potassium do you take? I'd love to give it a shot. My motion sickness is also through the roof, I have to drive myself everywhere I go regardless of dizziness b/c if I'm in someone else's car, the motion sickness kicks in before I leave to parked position lol
I have palpitations and have had them for a long time. I also have hypertension and about a year ago with zero changes to medications and lifestyle my heart rate which was always ranging from 60-70bpm jumped to now always being at a min of 90 but usually always over 100bpm. I talked to my dr about it and she sent me to cardiologist, i had an echo done as well as a 24 hour heart monitor. Long story short i do have palpitations and a heart thing but NOTHING that can explain why all of a sudden my hear rate just jumped to super high and never goes down. It can go up to 170s and palpitations get uncomfortable. I also get nausea often and have a very poor appetite. I honestly feel it is all part of fibro.
My first major flare included me going to the ER with a 130 pulse and a sudden 101 temp without actually having a fever. Among a plethora of other symptoms. Not sure if the pulse was related to fibro or not. It bounced between 98 and 102 for several days. Of course all tests came back normal.
I also got debilitating nausea/headache/eye pain/motion sickness for I think 2 weeks. I lost over a month from everything. The nausea/headache etc. paid me a surprise visit last Wednesday, I read a recommendation for magnesium and potassium for the nausea, and coincidence or not the nausea subsided day 2 after I began double doses of magnesium and potassium, plus Citracal and an Aleve. It wouldn't hurt to try it, I hope you feel better soon.

Motion sickness is usually caused by the crystals in the ears being disturbed.
Don't take everything at once or you won't know what works and what doesn't
I would recommend you contact the supplier of supplements and ask for advice
I take 150mg to 300 mg per day of Magnesium. Too much and you will have diarrhoea!!
Magnesium is antispasmodic so muscles, colon, heart are all either voluntary or involuntary muscles
I take B50 Compex with that
I would be careful with Potassium because that affects the heart as well.
Look at you diet as well
I suffer from thoes same symptoms. I have been told it is my anxiety, however I have them even when my anxiety is almost non existant.
