I have had intermittent POTS symptoms. POTS is postural orthostatic tachycardia. It's a form of dysautonomia, which many believe fibromyalgia to be as well. So they can overlap.
One thing I learned about fibro is staying hydrated. Ever so often I feel like that and realize I have not drank water or even ate. Too busy just trying to get stuff done. I don't know but hope the suggestion helps.
I'm so sorry beaburg for what you're going thru. I'm praying it is not super serious. It's fascinating how so many symptoms can be experienced with fibro. I have had crushing pain in my chest wall thinking it was my heart failing me. Rush to the doctor he says "it's not your heart " . Come to find out it's a symptom of costocondritis an inflamation of the chest wall. Oh boy yet another pain.
I have had an irregular heartbeat since around the same time that the fibro showed up. I asked my cardiologist if fibro could be the cause of it and he said no. Our hearts are muscles so i really.dont believe him. Lol. I hope they figure it out for you. Hugs

Get the Doctor to check your Blood for Iron deficiency anaemia as well, I take iron tablets every day, you could also need Vitamin D and Vitamin B12 as well.
