I'm sry, what is a pip assessment? Is it the same as a court hearing for disability approval?
You could try:
*asking your lawyer for a ride
*I remember also I think it was on the paper they sent giving you your court date they would reimburse you mileage
* if you have to drive, when you get there, get out of car& have a Walker in back seat. Hold on to car door to get it out & that will help your holding yourself up. It does for me.
* call lawyer ask for suggestions to get there if they can not take you

I had a ESA assessment at Bournemouth job centre about 3 months ago. I called the job centre and told them that coming from Christchurch and having to walk from KFC, meant I couldn’t attend on public transport. I gave up driving when I got on the heavy duty painkillers. The upshot is that they cancelled that appointment and arranged another one so I could get a taxi paid by them. It’s well worth getting in touch with them for help getting there

I would say, a taxi there and back.. I can't travel on buses as the suspension (or lack of) plays havoc with my back...during these assessments they look at everything, my concern for you here, is that it will work in your favour if you have to taxi there and back...there are certain circumstances when they will autorise and pay for you to travel by taxi.... you can of course ask for an assessment at a centre closer, if they have one...though with the assessment tomorrow, it may not be possible...I know taxis are expensive, but if it helps you get p.i.p. it's money well spent...💙💖💙
You can request a home assessment where they come to you if youre unable to get to them
