Members overwhelmingly related to the experience of profound fatigue and physical exhaustion in fibromyalgia, with many describing mornings as particularly difficult and energy levels crashing by early afternoon, leaving them unable to perform basic tasks or even lift their arms. Several members shared strategies including relying on morning coffee for an initial boost, recognizing that fatigue can be as debilitating as pain itself, and seeking help for related symptoms like dizziness or vertigo through specialized physiotherapy. A recurring theme was the emotional weight of feeling guilty or lazy despite knowing the exhaustion is real, the struggle to maintain basic hygiene during severe flares, and the vital importance of having understanding support systems and faith to endure what feels like an unrelenting daily battle.

My worst time is in the mornings. I feel like a truck ran over me, hugs

I suffer from sometimes severe fatigue. It sounds awful but when I am having a flare and am out of my narcotics, I can go for 3 days without a shower...just lying on the couch in front of TV for a distraction. I won't even eat much unless someone brings it to me. So I do understand. β€πŸ’–πŸ’—

Yes all the time....I'm not lazy but damn sometimes I feel like I am the laziest person on Earth. Its like I have to drag my body to the Kitchen for some coffee to give me a boost to at least get my day started, meaning taking care of hygene and all.

Sometimes I think the worst part is the guilt for not being able to accomplish anything.

Unfortunately Fatigue in its various forms are a symptom of Fibromyalgia but you can also have Chronic Fatigue on top of Fibromyalgia as well.
