Members strongly resonated with the question about shortness of breath, with many sharing that even minimal activity like climbing stairs, walking short distances, or doing light housework leaves them winded. Several members noted practical steps they have taken or plan to take, including asking doctors for stress tests, COPD tests, checking iron levels (which can cause breathlessness when low), using inhalers, and applying heat when symptoms worsen. A recurring theme was the frustration of having lung function tests come back normal despite debilitating breathlessness, with many attributing it to fibromyalgia while others emphasized the importance of ruling out serious conditions like blood clots, heart problems, or pulmonary issues through medical evaluation.

Yes. I feel pain when I try to breath deeper and not so much activity. Like running two minutes after my kid and I feel so bad

I get breathless with the slightest activity. Climbing stairs now is a chore due to it. Any tests to examine have come back negative and I have no diagnosed issue with my lungs. Its just chalked up to fibro.
