I was recently been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, have been dealing with accessive pain since I was 12, within the last year or 2 I’ve noticed my arms and legs will go numb through out the day, is there anything to help or eliminate this?

Unfortunately it is a symptom of Fibromyalgia.
I also have numbness and pins and needles in both my arms and legs.
Don't know of anything you can take for it. Maybe someone else has been able to take something for numbness.

Medication wise gabapentin helped improve mine. Now my dr is looking into imaging of neck to be sure it's not something besides fibromyalgia. Although the pins and needles improve with medication I still have severe muscle spasms in my neck and traps.
I have all symptoms every one has, I go swimming at gym in therapy pool it helps through half the day, only excercise I can do now
I understand you are saying that your limbs go numb. It is just 1 of many symptoms. I get the same smptom every day. Very annoying. If ever you get " frozen shoulder" don't be alarmed! That is another 1 in 99.9 other symptoms also! I got "frozen shoulder" in both my arms. One - 1 year which lasted approximately 9 months. Then it was the other arm exactly one month after the 9 months of dealing with my left arm. I had it for 8 months in my right arm. Google "frozen shoulder" it's not fun!! Just thought I'd give you a heads up in case you or anyone else on here might experience what I did. Though I would never wish it on anyone.
