I am a male in my 50s. About eight years ago I began experiencing severe pain which has increasingly gotten worse.

It sounds like it could be fibro. Brain fog isn't necessarily there all the time. I didn't have cognitive problems in the early days. They have appeared with age and different meds.

Your symptoms sound very similar to mine..Please seek a doctor. I'm in the midst of being test for possible Fibro. My symptoms are similar I feel like my bones are shattering, and muscle aches in my forearms and severe joint pain when I stand up in the morning my feet feel as if they are getting shocked or I'm stepping on glass. I also get right side of the face and neck numbing. Keep us updated!!
Although getting diagnosis of fibromyalgia may be difficult, there are simple tests a knowledgeable doctor can do to determine if what you have is FMS. FMS is not just about pain.
