Hey there, I was wondering if people would share their experiences with antidepressants helping, unchanging, or worsening their fibro symptoms? Looking to possibly go that route soon. Thanks!
Prozac, has been best for me over the years

Antidepressants when I first came down with Fibromyalgia my body was in so much extreme pain and the Doctors at the time didn't know what it was.
They put me on high dose Antidepressants like 25mg tablets four or more times a day.
Most of that time I slept my life away waking up feeling like a Zombie.
Until I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia from a Rheumatologist and before that I realised that the dosage was too high for my immune system and metabolism to take.
Still took the Antidepressants but only at night and cut my dosage down by only taking half a tablet at night but if I felt really bad a whole tablet.
Some of medication the effects are far worse than the medication, none of the medication stops the Pain I feel.
There needs to be more research done on Fibromyalgia Medication by Doctors and Rheumatologist.

It took years before I admitted I was depressed. They put me on different meds. I remember hating Wellbutrin because it would make me twitch. Years on and off of meds I’ve never been able to be steady on something. Mainly because they zone me out. I get to a point where I don’t feel anything. I like to have a few days of me where I can laugh here and there and I’m more satisfied feeling something good or bad than nothing at all. Zoloft has been my most recent prescribed Med but I can’t take it longer than two weeks before I’m scratching to find myself again.
For me also it’s been trial and error. And ultimately I have to say if it wasn’t for God I don’t know where I would be.
I'm on duloxetine. Helps with burning in my hands and "vibration" in my feet/calves.
Prozac has helped with the depression and ibs but unfortunately not for the pain for me.
