Members connected over experiencing painful clicking, popping, and stiffness in their thumbs and fingers, particularly in the mornings, with several noting that their doctors diagnosed osteoarthritis rather than fibromyalgia as the cause, though some felt fibromyalgia also played a role. Many members shared that cold weather significantly worsens their symptoms, while warm weather provides relief, and that the clicking sometimes causes fingers to lock up briefly before popping back into place. A recurring theme was the frustration of morning stiffness requiring time to "defrost" before being able to move comfortably, along with the reality that joint pain affects daily activities like gripping and holding objects.

For me it's osteoarthritis. I also have rheumatoid arthritis. So either one would be very painful. Cold weather DEFINITELY doesn't help!!

I think that is typical in the AM. For fibromyalgia..

I am able to click the joints in my toes. The cold does not help. I prefer warmer weather as i dont ache as much.
