Urine Urgency Causing Accidents
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

i lately have that as soon as i feel i have to go to the toilet, i already have problems getting up without peeing. I then have to hold me3 minutes with crossed legs and try and walk down the stairs to go to the toilet. But quite often i do not make it and i started leaking and sometimes i actually peed before i reached the toilet.

has anyone else of you got that to?

I have also had this problem with leaks and have actual wet my pants whilst out shopping so embarrassing . I was also told it was a weak muscle by the doctors ( no examination ). I have had an hysterectomy at 27 so I think it's more of a prolapse. I wear pads every day . Yet another gift from Fibro it just keeps on giving

I had that problem because of a prolapsed uterus with fibroids. In 2006 my doctor did a hysterectomy and also put in a "bladder sling". This stopped the urgency and leakage. It's starting back though. He said the sling would have to be replaced eventually and it's been 12 years. That's just my experience.

Yes i do lately, unfortunately my 2 doctors think it's a matter of week muscles, not actual incontinence being at times i can hold it. i started wearing pads everyday now
