So I’ve had several people reach out to me over the last few months about their fibro symptoms. Most are concerned about twitching which is what I experience. Mine are subtle (fasciculations) in which I can feel and see them. Some are strong where others can see, others not. Like an eye twitch but all over my body. Now I don’t experience the myoclonic jerks where my arm or legs will move unintentionally, but I have experienced the kind like when you fall asleep. Which ones do you experience… read more
Hi there! Yes, I do. Daily. Some days are better than others. I totally understand how you feel. I also have other sensations like buzzing, tingling, muscle
Weakness feeling. I saw a neurologist in December and had a EMG, and MRI done, no neurological disease. But the symptoms are still there and it’s very frustrating.
@A MyFibroTeam Member I also have the vibration sensation and buzzing. It’s more prominent when I wake up, it’s like I turned on the engine in my body! As if my nerves are waking up. The twitching I experience throughout the day. Frustrating.
I too have the fasiculations or twitching that you sometimes can see but I certainly feel. In addition I have what some described as internal vibrations. It is very predictable that it will happen when I lay down but it will also happen periodically and madr worse by stress. Numbness, and tingling comes and goes but pain somewhere is constant.
Hi Suzette, I hope all is well. Better here now that it's warming up. I know this is an old post, but I'm still terrified of what mayhem is going on in my body. Recently saw a Neuro and my primary care physician both agreed that they whole heartedly do not think I have anything "neurological" going on yet I still experience fasciculations daily all over. I feel like I'm going bananas over here lol. Do you still get the muscle twitching/fasculations?
I have that on and off, one of the most persistent symptom. What helps me:
1. B12 intake
2. Magnesium intake
3. Cardio exercises
4. Hot Tub and Sauna
