Members connected deeply over the shared experience of bone-deep leg pain, with many recalling childhood diagnoses of growing pains that never went away, and several describing the confusing reality that fibromyalgia pain can feel like it is coming from the bones even though it originates in muscles, nerves, and deep tissue. Several members shared practical relief strategies including heating pads, tramadol for severe flare-ups, and getting vitamin D levels checked, while others found reassurance in X-rays and tests that ruled out cancer. A recurring theme was the grief and fear of generational patterns, with members offering heartfelt support to those who have lost loved ones to cancer or worry about passing fibromyalgia symptoms to their children.

Fibromyalgia pain can appear in the joints and muscles, but fibromyalgia doesn't damage your joints the way that arthritis can. It also doesn't damage your muscles or other soft tissues. The pain of fibromyalgia can worsen arthritis pain.

I get really severe bone pain in my lower legs sometimes, and it's the worst pain I can experience. Sometimes it feels like a deep ache down to the marrow, and other times it feels like my bone is breaking ever few seconds and all I can do is scream. I had x rays done to make sure it wasn't cancer or anything like that and everything came back clear. I've found that at least with the aching type of bone pain a heating pad can really help. I hope you can get some relief.

I have fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis. I have lots of different aches, pains, hurts and when I am having an ok day. I get to the point that I have to sit. When I sit then I get these throbbing pains in my feet and back. It's so uncomfortable. I whine up taken a tramadol and then resting for a few hours before I can get up and do anything. It comes out of nowhere. Hugs and Prayers

Yes it doesn't like @A MyFibroTeam Member said, but I know that pain which feels like it's in your bone as I have that similar pain in my thighs, it's usually in my muscles and in my knees.
