Does anyone get really big knots in your neck and back? I have some that feel like they go under my shoulder blades even. If I have my son or sig other massage they tend to not be very gentle and makes my whole arm ache and sharp pains for days, which makes me Leary of having anyone touch it at all. Is this a common thing or should I try to get my Dr. to pursue it more, she wasn't too concerned when I talked to her about it.. Yes I have knots all over back and shoulders. My best friend is a massage therapist and gives me a massage once a week. Some times it’s tolerabke other times it’s painful. But she releases the knots and it feels good.
Yes I do...my massage therapist releases them..
It does hurt for a moment...but feels much better after....
I sometimes will get delayed pain if I get poked or even hugged.
Please have xrays or MRI to rule out other problems. If they
are negative then it is just fibro. Talk to your doctor. Heat helps a lot of people. Hydrotherapy(physical therapy in a warm pool) has helped a lot of people too
