Members connected over the shared experience of nerve pain symptoms described in the post, with many confirming they experience the same sensations of burning, stabbing, pins and needles, and sunburn-like feelings in various body parts including hands, feet, legs, arms, shoulders, and even the scalp. Several members described these sensations as a primary symptom of fibromyalgia, particularly during flares or exposure to cold, with some noting the pain can be so intense it stops them in their tracks and requires focused breathing to endure. A recurring theme was the validation of realizing these painful and sometimes confusing symptoms are widely shared among others with fibromyalgia, helping members feel less alone in their experiences.

Yes, yes & yes. I get the “sunburned” feeling on my shoulders all the time. The pins and needles and jabs in my hands, feet and legs. I also get that hot and buzzing feeling often in my arms and hands. Then there’s the itching.....

That’s my main fibromyalgia symptom, all over when in a bad flare, even my scalp...a burning/stinging sensation.

Yes, I get the stabbing pain in at least one part, especially toes and fingers, every single day. Have to stop whatever I am doing and breathe through it, for however long it takes.

I get pins and needles too, mostly feet.
